For all tools, the mac version is a zipped app, the windows is an exectuable, and the other is a Java executable jar file. Here's how to run them (assuming you are using the program called TheProgram):
mac Unzip the archive TheProgram .app.zipand double-click the included file, TheProgram.appwindows Double click the executable TheProgram .exeother From a shell or command line prompt run execute the command % java -jar TheProgram.jar
