Dennis Hopper Speaks About Crash And Art Exhibit

Posted by Richard on Thursday, September 17, 2009 in CelebritiesDennis HopperProjects • (0) CommentsPermalink

Dennis Hopper took a little bit of a timeout from his busy schedule today and spoke with “Good Day New York" host, Greg Kelly.

On the eve that the TV series Crash returns for its second season, Hopper gives us an insight of what we can expect this time around.

Hopper plays a music producer in the hit TV series and he explains that contrary to what many people believe, the character is not based on pioneering recorded producer Phil Spector, but is rather just Hopper being himself. Spector was convicted of murder earlier this year but some years before that Hopper tells Kelly that he used to share an office with Spector and that it’s a tragedy what’s happened.

Hopper is quick to get off the subject however and changes the topic to his latest art exhibit. Hopper has work on display at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery including about 12 billboards of photographs from the 60’s. You can check the exhibit at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery in Chelsea, New York on West 26th Street.

Crash: Season premieres September 18th at 10pm ET/PT
