Another working week is behind us and our only worries now are; what am I’m going to do this weekend? That sentence is a little contradictory because if I’m honest with you, I’m not worried if I do nothing this weekend. That’s enough about me, what’s been going on in the world of GPS I hear you cry?
It’s almost as if you can hear a big sigh of relief as people all around the world acknowledge that it’s Friday and the weekend’s upon us. It’s only a day old but it feels like nothing else has happened this week except for the Falcon Heene story, “Balloon Boy.” You’d be wrong though, believe it or not other stuff has been happening, particularly in the world of GPS.
So here we are at the end of yet another week. We’re already nine days into the new month and with a full working week behind us it’s time to take a look at what’s been going on in the GPS world.
Let’s start with "The Start." TomTom introduced us to their new entry-level GPS device, The TomTom Start.
So what’s this week in the world of GPS had to offer? Compared to other weeks I guess you could say it’s been a relatively quiet week. That said, there’s still been plenty of news, releases and announcements to get our teeth in to.

This week’s been an interesting and slightly unusual week in the world of GPS. Smartphone’s and wireless connectivity seemed to be the flavor of the week with prices being confirmed, apps being introduced and collaborations being announced.
