Garmin have launched a new version of their satellite navigation system aimed specifically to help lorry drivers across Britain.
The nüvi 465TF is designed to guide the lorry driver the most hazard-free way helping them avoid low bridges, narrow lanes and small villages. The device allows the truck driver to enter the vehicles dimensions and then the nüvi 465TF will reroute the journey taking these measurements into consideration.

Last week The Boy Genius Report unveiled some pricing on upcoming Smartphone’s from AT&T. Included in the mix was Garmin’s nuvifone G60. The Smartphone got a price tag of $299.99 after a mail-in-rebate and a 2 year contract, or $549.99 if you wanted it off contract.
At the time it was still unclear when the device would actually hit the retailers. Garmin have now posted on their website that the nuvifone G60 will be available online and in store exclusively from AT&T on October 4th 2009.

Garmin announced today that AT&T will provide the wireless service for the new Garmin nuvi 1690. The new PND from Garmin is due out later this year and is expected to cost around $499.
The Garmin nuvi 1690 comes with a built in wireless modem and will provide two years free data service through AT&T.
